Final Destination: Den Haag Centraal
All trains also call at: Haarlem, Leiden
These direct trains between Amsterdam Centraal and Den Haag Centraal have recently been diverted.
They no longer travel via Schiphol, and now take the slightly longer route via Haarlem.
Something to look out for when travelling from Amsterdam to Den Haag/The Hague by train, is that there are two main stations in Den Haag served by IC trains from Amsterdam.
It's likely that you'll want to head to Den Haag Centraal, as it lives up to its name with a great city centre location.
However, some trains from Amsterdam to Den Haag only call at the city's other station, Den Haag HS.
So take care that you don't board one of those trains if you want to head to Den Haag/The Hague city centre.
Aside from that, in common with most train journeys within The Netherlands, this journey between Amsterdam and Den Haag/The Hague should be blissfully straightforward.
If you'll be visiting The Netherlands, simply head to the station whenever it suits you, buy a ticket and step on to the train.
