This isn't the main rail station in Den Haag/The Hague, but it does have convenient public transport access to the heart of the city.
Some trains to/from Den Haag/The Hague including the ‘Inter City Brussels’ services, don’t call at the city’s main station, Den Haag Centraal.
Instead the only train station in the city that they arrive at/depart from is this station, Den Haag HS (Den Hagg Hollands Spoor).
Den Haag HS is less than a kilometer further from the city centre than Den Haag Centraal.
If your final destination or starting point, is in the vicinity of Den Haag Centraal station and the train you're taking doesn't call there, an option is to take one of the frequent trains between Den Haag HS and Den Haag Centraal.
However, many destinations in Den Haag/The Hague city centre have a direct, easy tram link to/from Den Haag HS station.
The closest tram stop to the Dutch parliament building is the Kneuterdijk stop, which is only three stops from Den Haag HS.
Take trams on Line 1 heading towards Scheveningen Noordenstrand.
