DSB is the national railway operator in Denmark and its online booking services sells tickets by regional and express trains including the Lyn and IC services.
On the IC and Lyn routes look out for the discounted 'Orange' tickets if you want to save money.

Through a third party partnership DSB also sells international rail journeys between Denmark and Germany, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Czech Republic and Austria.
Though DSB does not sell tickets for the Snabbtag express trains between Denmark and Sweden.

Tickets will cost the same price if purchased at the station immediately before departure.

Tickets cannot be booked online, so have to be purchased at stations from ticket machines, that have Engliish translations - or from 7-11 stores.

Trains run through central  København/Copenhagen every 20mins, you don't have to head to Kobenhavn H (the city's main station) to take these trains

Final Destination: Hillerød

All trains also call at these stations in central Copenhagen/Kobenhavn: Vesterport and Nørreport and Østerport

Hillerød is the terminus of line E of the commuter train network in København/Copenhagen (the S-tog trains), so make sure you are taking a northbound line E train.

Frederiksborg Castle is a 15 min easy walk from the station, Hillerød St.
