Travelling on to Gibraltar:
Buses on line/route M-120 connect Algeciras station to Gibraltar.
The buses depart 2-3 x times per hour so you won't have to worry about making the connection.
The buses don't depart from the forecourt outside the station, they leave from the San Bernado bus station, which is directly ahead of the station across the street; it is beneath a hotel.
The buses on line M-120 will be heading to 'La Linea Estacion', the bus station in La Linea, which is a 5-10 min walk to the customs point for entrance into Gibraltar.
The bus journey is scheduled to take 45 minutes.
The trains take the high speed line as far as Antequera (where the locomotives are swapped from electric to diesel) and they then switch to conventional tracks for the remainder of the journey on to Algeciras.
The journey becomes particularly scenic once the train leaves the high speed line, there are dramatic views east of Ronda, particularly on the right.
West of Ronda the train travels through tree lined valleys and gorges.
