Final Destination: Paris or Marseille St. Charles

The usual year round service to Béziers usually comprises, two daily morning departures from Barcelona at 06:00 and 10:05, a summer only service at 14:00 and an afternoon departure at 16:36, which is the train heading to Marseille.

Between Barcelona and Perpignan the train will travel at up to 280 km/h on a high speed line.
Then between Perpignan and Montpellier the train follows the coast, don't expect incredible seascapes, but there are some nice views as the train threads through the marshes; particularly north of Perpignan.
